Anyway, Sam just turned 2 months old last February 6 and because of that I already started making her familiar with the water. I did let her play on the pool good thing she loves being in the water. She didn’t cry even if the water is cold for her. Funny thing is she even slept will she is in the water, hehehe.

Since she is already 2 months old I am now starting to prepare for her Christening. I am now looking for a nice giveaways for her soon to be godparents and everyone who will visit her that day. I’m thinking of having her baptized on April 7 at The St. Paul Parish Church. As for the giveaways, I am going to bake some cupcakes and another gift that I still don’t know. I’m thinking of giving them a tumbler because it will be very useful for them.

What do you guys think? Will cupcakes be a good idea aside from the other giveaway that I’m still thinking.

On the day of my birthday, the boyfriend woke me up early in the morning because we are going to hear mass as well as a birthday blessing for me. I always do go and hear mass during my birthday and sabbath day. After the mass, instead of going straight back home I was surprised that we are heading on a different way other. He then told me that he’s going to treat me at Somethin’ Fishy located at Libis for a breakfast all-you-can-eat buffet and as always the food are delicious. We are so full that when we got home I can’t help but sleep and I think I oversleep because when I woke up it was already noontime. We also have a little family celebration in the house.

The next day, we went to Makati for another birthday celebration. We first went swimming until we don’t feel like it anymore then another small family celebration. Homemade food, thanks to my lovely HRM sisters for cooking a very delicious food. Watched a movie while relaxing and drinking a Novelino wine and Pink Cocktail, let’s not forget the food again. Pizza, popcorn and lots and lots of food.

I really did enjoy my parties even if its for family only at least I am with my family during my birthday which is kind of sweet. Oh! My younger brother gave me a gift and it was a Ferrari toy car from Shell. He was the sweetest brother ever.

Been pretty busy lately not with work but with summer vacation. I don’t want to spoil it by hanging around the house or always in front of the computer. You all know about the Batangas experience but I’m going to make a new entry about it with pictures along with the Subic trip that we had. Although the pictures are now up on my multiply but then again it is set or contacts only, don’t worry I’ll accept invites as long as you make use of the right category.

Another thing that I am pretty busy about is flickr. I never thought that flickr would be so much fun. I joined some cool groups especially the Filipina Flickrites where all Filipinas all over the world gathered together to showcase their passion and love for photography. The fun part about this group is they have a theme for a certain week that you should play to be able to have your photos accepted on their pool. Isn’t that great! I am actually having a hard time on taking into actions this weeks theme which is about HS/College Stereotype although I do have something in mind already.

So there, I am being random again.
Will surely be back with a more decent entry next time.

As promised, I am going to tell you what happened on my week-long training. This is going to be a very long post so please do bear with me.

February 6, 2009, Friday
First day was not really okay I was running late for the training’s call time which is around 8am because I was not feeling really well and just forced myself to get out of bed. I arrived at SPCC around 10am and thought I was pretty late only to find out that I was the very first participant to arrived they let me and let me wait on the HRM faculty for about an hour or 2 and the worst part is the training was canceled due to some unknown reasons. What a great idea! :pissed: Instead of staying, I quickly went out at SPCC and went back to school to inform my department head about what had happened.

February 7, 2009, Saturday
I really didn’t plan on going to the training on the said call time thus I arrived at SPCC at around 10am and I did actually missed the first part of the topic but it’s not that important because its more on the introduction and the schedules of the training. After the introduction and talk they gave us a module and explained what to do, what we should do is to read and answer everything that is in the module by ourselves. Yesss! It’s a self-paced type of training and you can only talk to the facilitators when you think you are done and if you want to clarify some things that you can’t understand. I was pretty thankful that I had my iPod with me and since I was a bit pissed off by the type of training, the volume of my iPod is in full volume :lmao:

As usual, I came late again but not that late though. More self-paced training and more handwritten answers to lots of questions. Again, thanks to my iPod and camera phone for making me sane. I was about to burst out to tears because I was really pissed off on what is happening but I can’t complain besides even if I don’t want to go I can’t, I was required to and I have no other choice but to undergo the training. Glad I’ve finished my work after lunch and I was able to go home earlier than the other one.

Another long and boring day. Nothing much to say because basically all I have done is to answer the questions in the module given to us. Oh! But I must share that I love what I ate, it was a Shrimp Calamare(?) and a Mango Crepe for dessert, yumyumyum! No pictures though because I was pretty busy nomnoming during that time.

After the training, I went straight back to the school where I am working because there is a pre-valentine party hosted by our Student Council. I just want to participate and show my support as an instructor. The party is fun not a blast for a first time but it was okay.

I was the very first one to arrived and what I like about this day is that our training is only a half-day just because the facilitators are attending some event and also it was a Valentine’s day. Anyway, I had my laptop with me because I was to lazy to write down my answers. While answering, I had my vlc player on and I am only playing two songs for the entire hours before I got bored. Actually, I was not able to do all the tasks to be done because when I got bored all I did is to talk with the boyfriend over the phone^[1] not knowing that when I got back it was already time to go, :lmao:

I was not able to go because I was not really feeling well since I was really sick during the first day and the entire week after.

Was not able to attend again because I was in school giving my prefinal examinations for my students and to think that this is the very last day of the training.

February 27, 2009, Friday
The assessment day will be today but I am pretty sure that I will not be able to go again because I’ll be facilitating a Java Programming Event for the 2-years course tomorrow in relation to the 2-days student fair that we have. I just wished I’ll be able to have my assessment on a different schedule.

There goes my week long training. You be the judge but I say it was pretty boring for me. :lmao:

Anyway, I have a good news. All my files from my laptop is now saved from my external hd and I am now waiting for my newly reformatted laptop. Thank God for having an uncle who knows about this stuff.

I am actually using the laptop of the boyfriend and I seriously don’t like it. Aside from the Vista OS, which I am not a great fan, I can’t work just because I don’t have the files that I am going to work with. I already am missing my laptop big time and I just hope that my uncle would be able to fix it by weekend because I still have lots of things to do, work-related stuff and I hate having pending jobs.

Aside from the laptop, I just scanned my flash drive for possible threats and guess what AVG detected a whooping 831 viruses on my flash drive alone :pissed: Asking where did I get all those viruses, I only have a one word answer and that would be SCHOOL. Yessss! The computer laboratory at school is full of viruses and I’ve been reporting and actually been complaining about it but still the viruses keeps growing its population.

Anyway, I am asking for your prayers because the boyfriend will be having his Thesis 0 defense on Sunday and I will be there with him as well as for the group that I am handling. Please do pray that they will have a passing remark on their defense.

Next week will be the busiest week for me. I’ll be having my exams next week and aside from that there is a 2-days Student Fair where lots of seminars and activities will happen. Also, I am in-charge for the Junior Level Programming contest where only 2-year courses will compete with each other using the Java PL. I am really excited for next weeks activities :woot:

This was yesterday. We went to BK after my work to have some snack since the boyfriend have this promo coupon and just because we miss Burger King.

- Got sick last Friday and I’m still sick up to now.
- My auntie gave me a half body massage just because she told me I got those lamig inside my body. It hurts but it felt really great after.
- Is currently attending a TESDA seminar. The school required me to go and that’s the reason why even if I’m sick I must go. It run for about a week although the training is scheduled every Friday, Saturday and even Sunday. Will have a separate blog about it once I’m done with the training.
- I’m loving the boyfriend’s webcam and we have a yet another webcam sweet moments

Speaking of work related stuff, I just had my exam yesterday something about the seminar that the faculty attended last October during the sembreak. I just don’t know how the result was but I have a high hope of having an average score, I admit that I was not able to study or even read the 80 pages module that they gave last Wednesday.

Aside from the said exam, I am also reading a 4 pages COS^[1] spiel that I need to memorize for Tuesday. Actually, we already have a drill last Friday but almost everyone is not yet ready that’s why they move it on Tuesday and this time giving the Admins the I’m still not yet prepared because the scripts are only given last Wednesday reason will no do good at all. I just wish I can speak in front on the Admins just like how I speak in front of my class, wish me luck people.

I’m now looking forward for February. Aside from the Valentine’s Day which everyone is really looking forward. The IT head, which is my boss, told me that he’ll be sending on an AM/TM^[2] seminar. Not that I want to go because they say that it’s kind of boring and I need to make my own syllabus which I really have no idea how to make one because you see everything is spoon feed to us already, I know! Such a spoiled instructors we are. Let’s just pray that I won’t be lazy so I can finish the seminar or else I’m not going to handle TESDA programs. Nothing much exciting to look forward to yet but I’m preparing myself for another toxic yet fun month, hope you have a great January just like I did.

Before I forget, I was really laughing hard when I saw Mian sleeping on the floor. I’m such a loser for not buying a bed for my pet.
